A Quick History of PGA Jr. League

PGA Jr. League exists to bring communities together through fun, team golf experiences… plus those experiences that transcend golf itself, like friendships that last for years to come or a newfound sense of confidence. What started as an idea penned on a napkin while watching the Little League World Series has grown to more than 60,000 boys and girls on teams spanning all 50 states in 2019.

What does PGA Jr. League stand for?

Safety, Care, and Organization guide the PGA Jr. League experience, and they're what we call The Three Flags.

These quality standards were born out of feedback direct from PGA Jr. League families. PGA and LPGA Professional coaches commit to putting safety first, creating fun experiences that are inclusive of every child as a golfer, and structuring their programs in an organized way that fosters communication.

We are veterans of the PGA Junior Golf league with teams that went to nationals in 2016 & 2018. We love our junior golfers. We typically field four to six co-ed teams at Hacker Hills from beginners to experienced tournament players.

Our goal is to learn, have fun and create an environment where families want to play this game for a lifetime!
